Mama Kakuma is a book of poetry written by individuals living in Kakuma Refugee camp in Kenya. Each poem provides a glimpse into the life of a refugee. REN translated each of the poems from English to Japanese and compiled them into this book in an effort to share these stories with the greater global community, particularly people living in Japan.
